This writer confused me a bit with some recent writings but this is clear and captures the moment very well. It least there’s hope for the future - seeing the way Russia recovered from Yeltsin I know it’s possible. We just have to wait out the inevitably coming collapse. I doubt I will live so long, and I can only pray that my grandchildren will find their way to a place they can build a new and better human society - albeit with far fewer people in it.
