They can still "sentence" / inprison him. After all, that's the US territory, right?

Technically speaking, the federal judge has to sentence him. It appears that the UK, USA, and Australian governments have agreed that the "sentence" would be the time he spent tortured in Belmarsh prison.

Would those three pathologically criminal governments send him to an American jail after such an elaborate scheme? I have no idea. I know they're capable of anything, but they also have idiot voters who would think releasing an innocent man after 15 years of murderous torture is a heroic act — especially on the eve of a Biden-Trump debate — and would vote for them.

We have to wait and see.
