Alliance for Truth: Call to Join Us!
A grassroots call to support investigative journalism in an era of censorship. Help us fight censorship, be a part of the struggle. Our future depends on it.
A Call to Action
From a little acorn, a mighty tree grows. I've joined forces with the already legendary Alex Krainer—while my book was merely removed from Amazon's marketing, his books were outright banned—and another true legend, Croatian Journalist of the Decade, Branko Mijić, to start a new media venture. We urgently need to create a worldwide network of truly independent media—a force much greater than just individual voices scattered across the few remaining free speech platforms like Substack, Rumble, and Twitter. Unless we unite, we remain isolated and weak. Our mission is to connect these voices, amplify the truth, and build a resilient media network that stands strong against censorship and manipulation.
I hate to put a financial strain on anyone, especially in these tough times, but I kindly ask you to be an active part of something bigger and support our campaign. Even an anonymous $1.00 contribution helps boost the algorithm and bring the project to more eyes. That makes your help so valuable and crucial.
Alliance for Truth Phase One I A Kickstarter Campaign
Where the establishment has failed us, the people can fill the gap. Major institutions like the Pulitzer, Journalismfund EU, and Fritt Ord Foundation have turned us down. They labeled our project, “more of a topic than a story” (even though all topics are supposedly eligible, according to their guidelines). We believe in the power of community to push forward this vital mission.
By bringing together authors fighting in different countries—Alex in France, Branko in Croatia, and myself in the United States—we will set an example.
Our first key delivery will be The Lethal Cost of Truth research/report.
The Lethal Cost of Truth
This preliminary reporting will solidify our investigative story by enabling us to obtain critical documents, through FOIA requests and in-depth research. We aim to uncover how governmental actions, often cloaked in a labyrinthine web of complex laws and opaque policies, undermine press freedom. These findings will be shared with the public to expose these malfeasances.
Our project also explores the monumental contributions of American journalism’s giants, whose work has been foundational in shaping our liberties. While a Pew Research Center survey reveals that 57% of U.S. journalists are deeply concerned about potential restrictions on press freedoms, our project will juxtapose the tragic stories of journalists killed worldwide with the impactful work of figures such as John Hersey, Seymour Hersh, and Upton Sinclair. These journalists documented momentous events—like Hersey’s “Hiroshima” in The New Yorker, Hersh’s exposure of the My Lai Massacre, and Sinclair’s undercover work in Chicago meatpacking plants—underscoring the essential role of press freedom in safeguarding democracy.
